Get fit in the New Year by being true to yourself and saving money!

Everyone has a different workout personality, whether you enjoy group boot camps or prefer alone time on the treadmill, and if you're going to keep your New Year Resolution to get fit, you'll need to know which personality is yours. Check out the various types of gym temperaments below, and then head over to the fitness center at the JCCSF where you'll find the right stuff for whatever kind of workout you need.

I love convenience

No sweat. JCCSF is at the corner of Presidio and California, with underground parking and multiple bus stops right out front. There’s also a spa, childcare, a café, onsite staff just waiting to help, and newly renovated locker rooms!

I’m an extrovert

Check out small-group training sessions in the new Training Studio and Adult Sports Leagues to stay motivated and connected.

I love routine

Stay consistent with recurring weekly classes in the Group Exercise, Cycling, Pilates and Mind-Body Studios or Aquatics Center.

I’m gym-shy

Settle in slowly with Fitness 101 introductory workshops and meet one-on-one with trainers who are approachable and nonjudgmental – seriously!

I’m an introvert

Put on your headphones and plug into new, state-of-the-art equipment such as Adaptive Motion Trainers with individual viewing screens for an episode of your favorite show.

I’m easily bored

Check out new Tabata and ViPR classes, hybrid workshops, DJ nights in the Cycling Studio, boot camp with specialized personal trainers or basketball in the 10,000 sq. ft. gymnasium.

Join the JCCSF Fitness Center by January 31 and pay just a $8 registration fee. Learn more here.
